22. Search Intent
Let’s get back to basics and start with an obvious but often forgotten Amazon Shopping Deal HACK. The ‘trick’ is to simply type in what you want. So, as an example, if you are looking for a baby monitor under £20, Just search for ‘Baby monitor under £20’.
21. Patience
If you want an item but want to see if it will drop in price, simply add the item to your cart then ‘Save it for Later’. Amazon will notify you by email if that items’ price drops!
20. Amazon Launchpad
Amazon Launchpad is a one stop shop for unique and unexpected finds from outstanding startup companies and emerging brands.
Have fun finding innovative products on Launchpad HERE and save 5%, 10% or even 20% at checkout.

19. Amazon Coupon Codes
We’ve all bought something on Amazon. At the end of the checkout process, it asks you to enter your coupon code.
We’re certain that if you are like us and you’ve wondered ‘where do I find these Amazon coupon codes?’ We’re here to tell you how to find amazing coupon codes that no one talks about.
If you’ve been on our blog before and you’ve bought something from Amazon and underneath that link it said ‘I am an Amazon affiliate and I make commissions from purchases bought using this link.’ In full disclosure BIGPriceDrops is an Amazon Associate. All this means is that if we share Amazon affiliate codes with you, we get a percentage of that profit at no extra cost to you. It’s how we keep the lights on and this website online.
However, what you probably have never heard about is that in our Amazon Affiliate dashboard there is a huge section of exclusive Amazon coupon codes. These coupon codes are divided up into percentages and we can get a coupon code for a ton of different items. We’re talking about thousands of different items that are priced at 70, 80 or even 90 percent off.
We are not the only Amazon Affiliate that has access to these amazing deal codes. All the other Amazon Affiliates have access to these codes as well.
Now the really cool thing for you is that these Amazon Affiliates will put their Amazon Affiliate deal codes on all of their social media networks, so if you are on Instagram, we highly recommend that you search for the following hashtags:
- #AmazonDeal
- #AmazonDeals
- #AmazonCodeDeals
- #AmazonShoppingDeal
- #CouponCommunity
- #AmazonCoupon
- #AmazonCoupons
- #AmazonCode
- #AmazonCodes
- #AmazonCouponCode
- #AmazonCouponCodes
- #AmazonCouponing
- #AmazonFinds
- #HotDeals
If you are on Facebook (Meta) and you want to join some really great Facebook deal groups, We highly recommend that you join our Facebook deal group – AMZ BIGPriceDrops. We have staff who spend hours and hours a day searching for the best Amazon code deals.
18. Amazon Shoppers Panel
Did you know that there is a way to obtain free Amazon gift cards directly from Amazon? It’s called the Amazon Shoppers Panel and the way you become involved is you are either invited or apply via the mobile app and you can get the app if you have an android phone or iPhone.
Once you apply and are accepted, all you have to do is upload 10 receipts from any store and do surveys. You’ll then get points to the value of £5 and you can redeem those points for Amazon gift cards or make a charitable donation.
Amazon Shoppers Panel is through Amazon, this is not a third-party company, a shady survey data mining company or some other app. It is directly through Amazon so you know that it’s legitimate.
17. Photo Storage
If you don’t already have a photo storage backup of some kind, you are at risk of losing all the photos on your phone. However, the good news is you can get free, unlimited full resolution photo storage directly from Amazon. If you are not a Prime Member you can get 5 GB which is still a lot of photo storage completely free.
Additionally there are 100 GB Photo Storage plans starting at £1.49 per month and huge 1TB of photo storage or about 140 hours of video cloud storage for £7.99 per month.
All you need to do is sign up and get the app on your phone. It will automatically sync your phone’s pictures with the application, so you never risk losing them.
16. Amazon Coupons
A lot of people don’t know that there’s a section just on Amazon for Amazon Coupons. All you have to do is click the coupon and you’ll get that coupon percentage off. Absolutely no scissors are required!

15. Charitable Donation
Do you want to do something for charity but don’t want to talk about it? Shop at Smile.Amazon.co.uk and Amazon will donate to your favourite charitable organisation at no cost to you.
It’s the same prices, same products and same service but in addition Amazon donates 0.5% of eligible purchases. There are thousands of local and national charities to choose from. Find one close to your heart here.
14. Amazon Outlet
Amazon Outlet is simply overstocked items. Amazon just bought too many of them and now they’re discounting the price so that they can move the product. Therefore, you have the opportunity to buy it at a lower price.
Start saving on hundreds of overstocked items HERE.
13. Amazon Warehouse
Amazon Warehouse is damaged boxed or returned items so basically you will be buying an item where the box is damaged, the box is non-existent or they were returned to Amazon.
These items are professionally quality control tested so that you know that you are getting a really good product and they still fall under the A to Z guarantee. So if you get something and it’s not up to your quality, then you can just return it for a full refund.
Check out Amazon Warehouse HERE.
12. Amazon Renewed
Amazon Renewed is basically were you find refurbished items. This is how you locate these products:
First of all you can go to each individual link for Amazon Warehouse, Amazon Outlet and Amazon Renewed.
The second way to find these items is when you are buying a product; on the sidebar it often gives you other options. If you click on that other price to purchase it you will see where it says Renewed or Warehouse or Outlet.
So make sure you’re always checking the other prices when you are buying an item. Don’t always trust the buy box which is the main price shown to be the lowest or the best price for any item.
11. Secret Shopping Tips With or Without Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime has increased its prices, but here’s how you can save on those increases. These are a few ways to help you understand that you don’t necessarily need Amazon Prime.
In the case that you just want Amazon Prime to get free shipping, you can still get free shipping on many items without Amazon Prime if you have £25 or more in your cart.
To start a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime click here. After the trial period Prime costs £8.99 per month. You can cancel at any time.
10. Amazon Prime Student
If you are a University student, you can get Amazon Prime Student, which is less expensive than regular Amazon Prime. In fact you get 6 months free trail and then it’s half the price of the normal price per month.
So, if you’re a student make sure that you look into other ways you can save with Prime Student.

9. Amazon Video
If you just want the video benefits of Amazon Prime there is Amazon Video, which is only £4.99 a month. You’ll get all the benefits of Amazon Video without the Amazon shipping benefits and all the other benefits that are associated with Amazon Prime.
8. Amazon Music

7. Amazon Prime Family
Many people do not know that you can share your Amazon Prime account with others to save money. All you have to do is log into your account and click Amazon Prime. When you are scrolling down, you will see a section that says ‘Manage Your Household‘. From here, you can add anyone you wish to your account so they don’t have to pay for a separate Prime membership.
6. Customer Service
The next way to save with Amazon Prime is to make sure that if you are not getting your packages on time or your packages are not up to the quality that you want, make sure you talk to their customer service. The easiest way to find their customer service is with online chat.
Amazon definitely doesn’t make it easy for you to find a genuine live person to talk to so what you’re going to do is scroll all the way down to the very bottom of their web page where it says Amazon help.
Click on ‘Amazon Help’ and you’re going to think that’s it, but there are a couple more steps before you actually talk to a real person. Simply click on “need more help” and then you will get a pop up button. They will want you to talk to a bot. So just click and write ‘more help‘ and you just keep typing ‘more help‘ until you get to a real person.
Chat with an Amazon associate and then tell them your problem.
Amazon is known for their amazing customer service and they will happily give you discounts or money back on products that you are not entirely happy with.
For example, if you keep getting packages delivered late, why are you paying for Amazon two-day shipping with your Prime membership, if you’re not getting the two-day shipping benefit because it’s always late?
We are not saying to take advantage of customer service or to complain all the time, but if you have a legitimate complaint with Amazon, make sure that you contact them. They want you to be happy. It is one of the reasons that Amazon is such a huge global company because they really excel at customer service in a way that a lot of other companies just don’t.

5. Cashback Apps
If you are not using a cashback app while you’re shopping on Amazon, you’re basically just letting money fall through your fingers. If you’re going to throw money away, then we will give you our crypto or PayPal address and you can send it our way!
Our favourite cashback apps that we always have running on our computers are Honey, Rakuten, Racketon? and Quidco, Tops cash back.
